Where does the name Kirra come from?

Kirra is a name or Indigenous Australian origin meaning dancing leaf, beautiful woman, life. It comes from various Aboriginal Nations based around the borders of Queensland and New South Wales in Australia, and its name changes depending on the tribe. Kirra is also the name of a world famous sand bottom surf break located on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia where our co-founder Jerrod grew up surfing.
